Carson Bradley Hicks

Carson Bradley Hicks, 26, passed away on October 6, 2022 as a result of injuries sustained in an ATV
accident.

Carson was born on March 7, 1996 in Dallas, Texas. He attended Sulphur Springs schools and graduated Sulphur Springs High School in 2015 and then from Texas A & M Commerce with a Bachelor of Science in
2018 and Master of Science in 2018 and a Master of Science in 2020 in Agricultural Sciences. While growing up, he was involved in many extracurricular activities, but his love was rodeo.

Carson was a member of Bloomer Trailer Rodeo team where he competed in the Region IV high school rodeos throughout high school and ultimately qualified for the High Schools National Rodeo Finals. After high school, Carson was awarded a rodeo scholarship at Texas A & M Commerce where he competed at the college level and continued competing at the amateur level after graduation.

Carson is survived by his parents Holly and Chad Folmar and Todd Hicks, fiancée, Taeler Schepp, sister Carson Nicole Folmar and brother Chandler Folmar. He is also survived by his grandparents, Karen and Jimmy Willis, Gail and Don Hicks, Linda and John Folmar: Uncles Brad and wife Holly Willis, Bill and wife Sherry Sewell and Todd Folmar: Aunt Miki and husband Kris Koon: Cousins Loryn Meyer and husband Raeben and daughter Rhynlee, Chloe and Cole Willis, Kade and Chase Koon, Angelica, Tori and Blake Sewell, Breanna Dean and Chasen Folmar and wife Kalee as well as s host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Carson was preceded in death by great-grandparents, Lois and Richard Moore, Dera and George Hicks,
Mary and Earl Gregg, Helen and Jonny Folmar and Bobbie and J. T. Ellisen.

To know Carson was to love him. He set the example of loving son, grandson, nephew and fiancée. He was a true friend to many and a good man to all. This special young man will live on in the memories and hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Carson will be laid to rest in a very private ceremony on the Morning of October 11, 2022. A Public Memorial service will then be held on the same day, October 11, 2022 at 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Sulphur Springs. All are welcome to attend the memorial with honorary seating being reserved for the past and present J3 Cattle Team Members. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Carson Hicks memorial Scholarship Fund at City national Bank in Sulphur Springs, TX.
